back to school & birthdays
so I started my online Exploring Computer Science class at PCC yesterday and I’m so excited about it!!! I’m 10/10 so far on my coursework hurrah! And I learnt about binary and conversion between that and decimal. Cool stuff, right?
Mostly, I’m excited about learning again, and being on a path to a degree which I should have gotten like ten years ago. Wait! No more ’shoulds’ – I could have but chose to go work in programming instead. Which was fun and gave me money to spend and stuff. Yay!

It’s also my best friend back home Phoebe’s birthday today, and I miss her. If she were here, she’d be cheering me on all the way to graduation and telling me that now is better than never, and generally being wise and cool etc. I managed to get her card in the post today. Oops. Hopefully airmail will pull its finger out and speed it to her tomorrow! Or not.
So, happy birthday young lady, I hope the next year brings you health, happiness, fun, new friends (even more!), relaxation and um… cake.
